Though I love all of Martin Shaw's work and am slowly reading through his anthology, I'd recommend starting with a couple of his shorter, more accessible books (some of them are quite long and complex), particularly "Smoke Hole" (which includes 3 myths) and "Courting the Wild Twin" (which I believe is particularly poignant for women). I also recommend these because they're available on Amazon, while many of his other books can only be purchased through his personal publisher and require a steep shipping cost from the UK. Interestingly, Martin recently converted to Christianity and has signaled that his next book will detail Scriptural symbology and his personal transformation, so I'm eagerly awaiting that one to be released...
I also found you through Kelly Brogan. I am a Nonnie now to 7 grandbabies so I am sharing your Substack with all the young Momma’s I know. Your outlook is so inspiring and helpful. Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful work. You are an absolute Godsend.

I see you’ve linked to Martin Shaw. Do you have a recommendation for which of his books to start with, particularly for women?
